Ultra Low NOx <5ppm

Cutting edge technology capable of meeting sub 5 ppm NOx guarantees in fielded applications.

No Flame Impingement and Increase Heater Duty

Due to the arrangement of the burner and its combustion surfaces, flame dimensions are significantly reduced. This, combined with the elimination of a conventional burner tile, allows the burner to increase fired capacity without the need to change existing cutouts in the furnace floor.

100% Hydrogen

Capable of achieving Ultra Low NOx in applications with 100% H2.

Low CO Emissions

Due to the burner technology’s reduced need for entraining flue gas within the furnace, CO emissions are greatly reduced over current generation burners in cold furnace environments.

Round or Flat Flame Configurations

The ClearSign Core™ burner technology arrangement is highly adaptable with the ability to shape the geometry of the flame and radiating surfaces to optimize heat flux for different furnace applications.

ClearSign Core process burners are well suited to both heater configurations. Also, the ClearSign Core process burner can meet challenging applications whether it is short flame lengths or increasing capacity without opening the heater floor or refractory.

In most cases no modifications will be needed. ClearSign Core burners will fit directly into existing heater cutouts and connect directly to typical fuel gas piping.

The burners are fitted with an industry standard pilot, typically with electric ignition, and light up just like a standard industry burner.

Yes, full technical support is provided through the proposal process. We cover burner supply from start to finish, including testing and CFD modelling as required.

Yes, our technology is developed to handle up to 100% hydrogen. We also control NOx emissions to avoid the NOx increase usually associated with adding hydrogen to the fuel gas blend.

Absolutely. Unlike current ultra-low NOx burners, ClearSign’s technology does not achieve low NOx emissions solely on flue gas entrainment. Our burner generates extremely now NOx due to its well mixed fuel and air stream.
