The ClearSign Core technology principles are consistent across the different product offerings. A continuous pilot provides an ignition source to a well-mixed fuel and air stream that stabilizes on a bluff body downstream from the injection plane. The bluff body acts to stabilize the combustion process and help radiate the energy into the combustion environment efficiently.

The ClearSign Core™ technology is simple to operate, each module has a main pilot and a waste gas fuel connection. Similar to other technologies, the pilot is lit first and confirmed. After confirmation, the waste gas can be introduced. Simple as that!
